Delivery & Returns


We offer next day delivery on all orders placed before 12.00pm. This only applies for England, Scotland (excluding the Highlands) and Wales. Next day delivery is subject to warehouse stock levels, size of the order and delivery location, if your order is large or custom there may be delays, orders can take up to 1 month from order date.

We do our best to honour next day delivery on all non-custom made orders, but cannot accept responsibility for delays outside our reasonable control, and such delays shall not entitle a customer to refuse delivery after date, to claim damaged or to repudiate the contract.

Claims for shortage, loss or damage in transit cannot be entertained if received more than 48 hours after the customer has signed our receipt for goods delivered. 

Delivery prices are calculated during the checkout process, and are based on the quantity and weight of your order. Prices for delivery are subject to change without prior notice.

All Individual items over 30kg in weight are subject to mini pallet rates which are not calculated or specified during checkout, additional charges may be required prior to dispatch. 

Special Order, personalised and Made-to-Measure Products (Including Lifting/Lashing Chain and Chain components) are NOT subject to our next-day delivery policy and may also incur an added delivery cost to any items ordered from the website stock items.


Special order products do not come with a delivery time frame, so please ask our team for an estimated delivery date. For an item that is not on the website, please call 020 3978 2137 for a price and estimated delivery time. 

Delivery dates are approximate only, not guaranteed. Load Straps & Slings shall not be liable for any delays in delivery however caused. Our aim is for items available from stock to be despatched on next working day delivery service. Next day delivery services cannot be guaranteed due to events beyond our control (traffic delays, accidents, weather, road closures, etc). However, over 98% of consignments are delivered next day. If we become aware of any delays, we will communicate these to you at our earliest convenience. 

Orders received after 3.30pm on Friday through to Sunday will be dispatched on the next following Monday. Those received during Bank Holidays will be despatched on the next working day.

Our standard delivery service is Next Day, certain items of irregular, weight and dimension may not be eligible for these services, if so the details will be clearly marked in the variant description. 


We have the facilities to export globally (subject to any current/future UK Government restrictions) please ask us for a bespoke quote for international delivery.


We reserve the right to contact the customer prior to despatch of goods to inform of a change in cost of delivery. We may also need to contact you to confirm further delivery information or advise of any unforeseen delays to your order.

A valid signature will be required on delivery, couriers may suspend on paper/tablet signatures by recording surnames or taking photographic evidence of the delivery. 

In the unlikely event that you have not received your confirmed order within the stated delivery time, you must notify us immediately.

Upon delivery of the goods to you, the goods shall be at your own risk.

Once the order is delivered the risk will be transferred to the Customer, please ensure the goods are handled and stored to be preserved in good condition. NEVER use sharp knives or heat to open the packaging as this may damage the products contained inside.

Legal ownership (title) of the goods shall not pass to you until you have paid the price of the goods in full, with no setoff, claim or credit/debit card disputes/chargebacks.




In the unlikely event that a delivered product (including special order and made-to-measure items) is faulty or damaged, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 14 days of the product being delivered to you.


We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange.


Any product which has been made to order or personalised cannot be returned if ordered in error or is no longer required. 


In the event that you wish to return an item(s) purchased from Load Straps & Slings that is no longer required, we will provide you with a full refund, excluding any delivery charges (unless you cancel the order before it has been dispatched for delivery) and provided we are advised of the proposed return within 14 days of the product being delivered to you. Please be aware that returns may be subject to handling fees. 

To return an item you no longer want or need, please email including your order reference number, the item(s) you would like to return and the reason for the return. We will reply with an an authorised returns number and details on how you can send your item back to us. Items should be returned in unused condition & in the original packaging, due to the nature of our products a restocking fee may apply. Unfortunately delivery charges are not refundable, where items are ordered incorrectly.

The item(s) must be delivered back to us and will be inspected before any refund is made. If they have been used or are not returned with the correct packaging, you will not be refunded for the item(s). We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange. 


Made-to-order and personalised products may NOT be returned unless they are deemed to be faulty or have been damaged in transit, so be sure to check your specifications carefully if ordering custom-made products such as chain slings, hoists and wire rope slings (Please see details above concerning the return of faulty or damaged products). 

Refunds will be processed within 14 working days on receipt of returned goods.
